GAP Return Policy
If you need to return an item you purchased online at the Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, or Athleta stores, you can return your item(s) to their individual store.
In order to return an item you need to find a store near you and bring your invoice along with your item.
GAP Return Policy
If you purchased an item online you have within 45 days of purchase by mail or to a store. To receive a refund for items returned by mail, items must be received at our facility within 45 days of ordering. Please allow 5-7 days for return mail.
If you received your item as a gift and are not happy with it or its the wrong size, you can return it or exchange it. If you decide to return it, the store will refund the purchase amount in the form of a store gift card, which you can use immediately or for future purchases online or in person in any of their stores.
REFUNDS
Most refunds on returns are in the form of original payment.
Here are the details for various methods of payment.

| A gift card | Refund your purchase amount to the same gift card or issue a new gift card for that amount. |
| A promotional code or discount | Exchange the item for the same style in another size or color. (If you choose to exchange the item for a different style, the discount can’t be transferred.) |
| Rewards points | Credit those points (not the dollar amount) to your Rewards account. |
